A message to all concerning Loch Monzievaird Chalets - our car park will be closed from tomorrow, Monday the 23rd of December, until Monday the 6th of January. We kindly ask all to respect our no parking policy over the holidays.

Dear Crieff and Strathearn Friends,

This is the manager of Loch Monzievaird Chalets. I've been following the chat regarding walks at the chalets, and wish to bring some clarity to the discussion.

As others have pointed out, the path around the loch is not a core path, nor is it a public right of way. I'd like to add that the Outdoor Access Code does not extend to vehicle access. When we post signs saying "No Parking or Vehicle Access Until Further Notice," we do so with the expectation that people will respect our wishes.

Our camps are not quite done for the year, with weekend groups in September and October. When you see the signs up at our entrance, we kindly ask you to please respect them.

Our camping season is upon us, and in keeping with our safeguarding policy, we are closing vehicle access from tomorrow, Friday the 24th, until the 20th of August.
