We’ve made an addition to the garden.
A new little patio area to enjoy…bistro set pending.
We found the bottom of the garden is a little sun trap, so whilst doing some maintenance this weekend, added a small patio area, which we’ll add a bistro set to, for our guests to enjoy during summer for their morning coffee or evening cocktails, in the sun.

Cosy bedroom number two has views of the church, which is perfect in summer for Perigean watching…vintage binoculars provided for this reason.

We created a new en suite within the master bedroom.
We continued with accents of black, which we think works really well.

We went for black accents to tie in the original Victorian fireplace that we restored & then added softer textures to make it warmer.

The Sea Marge, Overstrand.

2 miles down the road to Overstrand, you’ll find The Sea Marge Hotel. With its huge menu & delicious food, it’s somewhere we like to visit often & recommend to everyone as there is something for even the fussiest eater.

It has stunning lawns which look out to sea, so lots of room for the little ones to run around & with a giant chess set too, you can spend hours sitting with a drink whilst the kids play.

It is steeped in history & original features. Winston Churchill was a regular visitor & is said to have used the telephone to mobilise the British Navy at the start for the First World War.

Cromer is one of the best places in the UK, where you can watch the sun rise & set in exactly the same place.
The beach & pier are prime viewing spots 🌅

The National Trust Felbrigg Hall is a few mins away from us & well worth a visit anytime of year.
Beautiful grounds to explore including their walled garden, a lovely tearoom & cute shops.
If you have little ones, they have an Easter egg hunt this half term too!

So you don’t forget where you are…

The view of is one of our favourites.
Did you know Cromer Pier is home to the only full season end of pier show in the world?! It’s also one of only five UK end of pier theatres, where you can enjoy a variety of different shows throughout the year from family entertainment to tribute acts & comedians.
It’s well worth checking out when you visit.

Quite possibly one of the biggest debates in Cromer…where does the best fish n chips? 🐟🍟

We are usually found enjoying the stunning views in but do enjoy some of the other local fish n chip takeaways too.

Cosy corners & charity shop finds…Norfolk has the best treasure troves!
This beautiful bird book was hidden under an unattractive book sleeve but remove that & you have a gorgeous book fit for display.
I always check the charity shop books after seeing the idea from our friends at 📔
