Walking out near Dereham, Norfolk, home to Chair, Ken Hawkins.
Christmas Message
It’s that time of year once more, this year perhaps more hopeful in some ways while presenting plenty of difficulties in others.
We’re looking forward to reading what you have to tell us in your Annual Return, knowing that, once again, there has been some great work across all our members. I hope you find the reduced format easier to deal with - we have tried to take notice of all the comments made last year, and will do so again this time round.
We are delighted to report that we have offers under consideration for both the 2023 and the 2024 Annual Get-Togethers, about which we will report further in the New Year. Having been obliged to miss the 2021 event, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Alton in October. There’s always a buzz when people of broadly like minds get together and swap thinking, and this was no exception. If you were there, I hope you too got plenty from it; if you weren’t, I hope you will be able to come to the 2023 event.
But that’s for next year. For now, I thank you for all your work and support for Walkers are Welcome in 2022, and wish you success in any remaining events planned for the Christmas period. Ken Hawkins
