Your feedback means the world to us, and we've been thrilled to hear all the wonderful comments about our summer services to Bishop Auckland 🤗 But wait, there's more! Due to popular demand, we're excited to announce a special EXTRA date for Halloween.

🎃 Date: Sunday, October 29th
Trains Running: Bishop Auckland to Stanhope 🛑 All 4 trains on this spooky day will make stops at ALL stations: Bishop Auckland, Witton Le Wear, Wolsingham, Kingfisher Halt, and Frosterley.

And here's the best part: up to two children (or ghouls!) can ride for a quid with just one paying adult ‼️*

But hold on, there's more to the story! Everyone is welcome on these eerie trains, whether you're joining in on the Halloween fun or not. Expect a fantastic family atmosphere for all to enjoy. 🧛🕷️

Sweet Pea Cottage is set in the quiet idyllic village of Firtree in County Durham, the property itself is to a high standard and in a fantastic location for easy commute to Stanhope and the Dales, Hamsterley forest, Durham City, Kynren, High force and much more, there is lots of breathtaking views and walks in and around Firtree and the surrounding area.

A short walk up to Pea hill now offers a brand new childrens play park.

Firtree also has two local pet friendly pubs that serve Fantastic food within a few minutes walking distance of the cottage, there is also a local petrol station with a shop where you can purchase a few essentials.

The property itself has recently been upgraded with new kitchen area, bathroom, and a twin bedroom.

Public parking is available outside the front of the property off road.

There is a yard to the rear of the property with seating area, firepit and bbq facilities.

The cottage sleeps 4 people with one large double bedroom and one Twin bedroom.
A well equipped kitchen and bathroom has everything you need for your home away home stay.

The living area consists of Sofas, TV with Netflix and a Wood burner fire for cosy nights in.

Pets are allowed at the property at no additional cost
