We've had some lovely families stay here this & it's not over quite yet! A lot of our reviews are published by the agency we use but sometimes the visitor book gets used as well. Here is one from last week, regardless of the very changeable weather i think they all enjoyed themselves. Did you know the Royal Drum Horses come from just along the back roads in Eglwyswrw? You can visit the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm with lots of visitor attractions apart from the splendid horses themselves! I was lucky enough to these 2 at Nevern Show on Wednesday.

Seals are wild animals who have made the Pembrokeshire Coast their home. Do your bit to help them thrive.

How to behave to gain our Seal of Approval 🦭
- Keep clear
- Keep quiet
- Keep low - if you stay below the horizon line, seals are less likely to spot you.
- Seal pups of Atlantic Grey seals can't swim until they've malted - don't try and put them back in the water
- Keep dogs on leads
- Selfies are selfish
- Keep it secret - don't share seal locations online
- Move away if you notice signs of disturbance

Now that our community pub Crymych Arms is open Plas Drygarn Cottage guests can book Sunday lunch there. Guests that left this morning praised the meal they had there last night & enjoyed the live music. It's a short walk uphill to the pub but worth if you want to leave the car behind!

Last minute Summer Week Sat 24th to Sat 31st AUGUST now £850 for family of 5-6 +travel cot. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 living areas plus the secure back garden & patio. We also have a shared play area nearby. We are well away from any roads in a peaceful valley but with good access. North Pembrokeshire is near many sandy, patrolled beaches & is an ideal location to travel out from daily to explore the area.

Ty Gwyrdd has just 1 week left available during the summer holidays SAT 24th - SAT 31st AUGUST, a last chance to book at just £850. Sleeps up to 6 plus travel cot & is dog friendly. Apart for its own safe secure back garden & patio we now have a grassy play area for both Plas Drygarn Cottage guests to use. A swing, a baby/toddler swing & a tyre hanging from a high branch. We also converted an old sauna into a play den with mini kitchen & seats each side. Message to find out more.

Plas Drygarn Cottages now have a shared grassy play area on the way to one of our fields. Swings with 2 different sized seats & a rope tyre swing for the more adventurous. A sauna hut has been converted into a play den with a wooden kitchen at the back & padded seating to sit & read. Each cottage has its own securely fenced back garden & each has children's garden furniture & beach toys in their respective storage areas.

Ty Gwyrdd has last minute availability from this Saturday 20th to Saturday 27th reduced to £700 (less days if prefer) Suitable for families of 5-6 with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with 1 of each on ground floor. It has a lovely secluded & secure back garden with amazing views. You can breakfast outside the kitchen door in the morning where hopefully the sun will greet you & BBQ & eat out on the patio in the evening. The cottage is also set up for more formal family meals with a well equipped self catering kitchen. Travel cot, high chair, stair gates all available for any young guests.

Another busy Saturday changeover in both cottages...Lovely comments in the visitors book, makes it all worthwhile. I must admit both of last week's guests were a pleasure to have around, really enjoying their surroundings & leaving the cottages in great condition as they left. My desk diaries have arrived ready for 2025. 1 each for Plas Drygarn Cottage bookings & 1 personal one for myself. I already have quite a few weeks books & deposits paid for 2025 school holiday weeks, best not to wait if you know your plans ahead! I can assure you there will no price increase so worth thinking about.

It's a beautiful sunny Sunday here at Plas Drygarn cottages & smallholding. We had a very late lambing jacob ewe with twin lambs. The peacocks are breeding, Penelope is sitting her eggs in a hay manger. All views here have Foel Drygarn, part of the Preseli Hill range in the background, stunning on a day like this! Ty Coch (Red House) our later barn conversion during lockdown is mainly single storey living except for the master bedroom & ensuite upstairs. Sleeping 7 plus our travel cot it can suit 3 generations of family. It's JUNE & we have some availability here at Plas Drygarn Cottages this month.
Ty Coch is available now & right through June so give me a call! It is the slightly bigger cottage sleeping 7 but can discount for couple only on request.

I had some time off this morning as quite a few family members are back in Pembrokeshire for the holidays. 4 generations of us met at Ceibwr, Moylegrove a beautiful little hidden gem of a beach with a slate bridge to cross to the pebble shore. Apart from my family there were 2 very brave swimmers & 2 kayakers setting off to explore the rugged coastline. This beach is also part of the Wales Coast Path so if you're a walker you may be interested. We went up the hill to afterwards for coffee & cake in the sunny garden & play area. And yes of course we went home with some plants too, something for everyone to enjoy.

Cottage grounds looking fabulous ready for today's guests booked in for Whitsun school holiday week, sun is shining too always a bonus on arrival day!
