ATHANIEL’S RESTAURANT
We use produce from our own walled garden as well as the neighboring farms and Estates. Our meat and protein are carefully selected from local artisan suppliers, allowing our menus to feature the finest of Scottish ingredients. We feature wines from around the globe to complement our seasonal fare, while the bar offers local beer on tap and an excellent range of Scottish whisky and gin. Our restaurant and bar face the South lawn and gardens providing sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The large wood burning stove and open fireplaces provide a warm atmosphere for those cooler, rainy days.

5 night stay with 3 days of driven shooting. Our guests from Houston were the perfect example of southern gentlemen and ladies. Our countries may be far apart but our manners and respect are matched. We will miss y’all! Haste ye back!

Well, what a wonderful week!

We shared the Scottish field with our lovely friends from South Carolina & Michigan and Scotland sure did shine! Northern lights, rainbows, sunshine, rain, hailstones and wind. Mix in salmon, sea trout, pheasants, partridge, and ducks for what can only be described as incredible!

Sad to say goodbye to our second group. What fun we had. Unfortunately, no fish but the shooting was fantastic. Great fun had by all with memories and friends made for life!

Our first group of 2024 and what a week this was!

We had great weather, great company, the fish showed up, the birds were well presented and shooting was challenging.

Wishing these guys safe travels back home and we hope to see you again soon.

It’s always sad to say goodbye to a lovely team of guns. Our final day at Rossie Ochil could not have been any better. Some outstanding birds, beauty, and shooting on display today!
Piper and farewell meal to come this evening and then we welcome our next group tomorrow.

Another wet day but once again we were rewarded with some of the best partridges on the planet!! So high and so fast! We won’t talk about the shots fired but we made the bag and more.
