What a year for awards!

I'm delighted to report that it's been another award-winning year for Travel Counsellors, with seven more trophies added to a jam-packed cabinet in recognition of the outstanding travel experiences we provide for our customers. The year began with Travel Counsellors being listed in the 2019 Top 100 Northern Tech Awards, taking our place as one of the leading technology businesses in the North of England and Scotland, with our bespoke booking technology supporting highly personalised travel experiences.

This listing was closely followed in April by the Top Homeworking Agency title in TTG's Top 50 Travel Agencies 2019. The personal service I can provide through running my own travel business from a home office was also recognised in Travel Weekly's Agent Achievement Awards in July, with Travel Counsellors scooping the top spot for Best Travel Homeworking Agency.

In October, Travel Counsellors was named in The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table, in recognition of the company’s impressive growth over the last 12 months. This is the fifth consecutive year that the company has been listed in the league table’s top 250, a prestigious ranking of Britain’s mid-market growth private companies. Securing a position of No.85 in the latest edition, the ranking is a significant climb up from its place at 121 in 2018.

October also saw Travel Counsellors win Best Homeworking Agency in the Association of Touring and Adventure (ATAS) 2019 awards, which was closely followed by a highly commended accreditation in the Best Use of Innovation for Business Culture category in the Business Culture Awards, recognising the supportive and exciting community culture Travel Counsellors fosters across seven countries across the globe.
