Our training fleet now includes three electric machines, a CE04 and two CE02's. The 04 is A2 compliant and the 02 meets the A1 category rule. We will soon offer 'E' cbts which, whilst conducted on the electric bikes, will allow the certificate holder to ride an auto 125 with an engine. More news to come, watch this space.

Our new F800GS's have arrived and will replace the fleet of F750 's which have served us well over the years. One was quickly put into service to help David pass his module two test

Our Yamaha 125's have served us well over the past 13 years, 1 YBR and 4 YS's however Yamaha have discontinued them with the entry level bike now costing over £5k. Meet our new 125cc machines the Benelli BN125 a stylish, modern alternative which will hopefully serve us as well as the Yams.

Despite successive storms we managed to help four students to their full licences during the usually quiet month of January. Congratulations to Kate, Bern, Peter and Nathan, three of them even achieved zero faults; as we say, not unique but very rare, well done all!

There is one more student to recognise this year. Ashley arrived over twelve months ago having never ridden a bike nor driven a car. He completed a cbt then after 10,000 miles on his 125 came back for his full licence. Module 1 was a bit of a challenge, Module 2 was passed first time. We've had some big fellas train with us over the years but at 7'3" Ash is literally head and shoulders above them all! For scale I've included a picture of Ash with Neil who at 6' plus, isn't a small boy. Well done Ashley, good effort from you and the team and ride safe chap. PS that's the screen of our 1250GS he's casually leaning on!

Our 310 Roadster and GS machines have been a huge asset throughout the year, they really are a fantastic bike to learn on and open up the door to a raft of options. Don't discount the A2 licence route, 47bhp is plenty enough to have fun with! Well done Ron, Josh, Ben, Lindsay and Archie.

We are privileged nee honoured, to welcome the venerable Dr Aron McCartney to the Corser wall of fame. The Doc finally decided to stop renewing his cbt and instead go for a full licence and literally, with minimal training, he achieved just that occurring only 2 minor faults. Well done Aron!

Fencing is done, big thanks to James Johnson for a fantastic job; signs are up, thanks to Duncan at green i signs and banners attached by 'slap and dash' aka Birks & Co. I'm really proud of the difference it's made to our site allowing us to provide plenty of secure parking space for our customers going forward. Thanks to all who helped make this change from wasteland to functional car park happen.

Much work has also been done to the side of our building turning an overgrown wasteland into a functional car parking area. Once fencing and signage is completed we'll have an opening party!😁

Despite all of the work involved returning our 'old' bikes and receiving the new season's models we still managed to complete training programmes for three of our students. Well done and congratulations to Craig, Phil and Chester, outstanding effort gents!

Thursday is often a busy day at the Academy, this Thursday was an exception because we had no less than nine tests booked, some were for current students, some were carried forward due to PCS strikes. So with students arriving from 08:00 and tests beginning from 08:30 until 14:04 it was all stations go!
I am delighted to say we had a clean sweep with all students passing their respective tests, some completing both modules 1 and 2 on the same day. Congratulations to Jiali (Charlie), Lee, Rico, Sean, Chris and Michael who all worked hard, each deserving their success. Thanks to the team at Corser Motorcycle Academy for their efforts in making it such a successful day!

With the multiple bank holidays in May our training schedules were disrupted. Despite this we managed to fulfil two more students ambitions, congratulations to Mike and Stephen. Special mention to Mike who passed module two with zero faults, not unique but very rare. We'll done both!

It was two / one to the ladies at the Academy last week when Emma, Rebekah and Lee all completed their training and passed their tests. Rebekah then visited us on Saturday with her fabulous Ninja 650 in a vivid metallic orange colour, different to the 'usual' Kawasaki green. We'll done all, ride safe!

We hit a milestone today when we completed our 1,000th cbt course with our latest student Sam. Congratulations to him and a huge thanks to all of the team especially Mac, Richie and Dave.

It was great to see Sarah recently when she called in on her G310GS. Despite passing her tests on one of our F750's, Sarah has sensibly chosen a 310 to learn her craft and develop her skills before 'maybe' moving onto something larger. It's a wise choice and the best way to build confidence and really enjoy each ride.
