The Apple Loft is a 450 year old Barn in Strete, near Dartmouth.

It's currently under going renovations ready to welcome visitors for their holidays later this year.

A walk down memory Strete 👟

Strete, or Streta was first documented in1194. The name changed to Street, but postal issues caused between the same named Street of Somerset meant a spelling change was needed!

You know we are a sucker for a before and after, here's the downstairs, going from 2 rooms to one amazing open plan living space.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree 🎄

Our living tree is just bringing so much christmasy goodness to The Apple Loft. We went with copper and blue to compliment the interiors of the downstairs!

Did you know this window originally spanned two rooms?

By taking out the wall in the middle this brought so much more light into the open plan space. Making the whole downstairs warmer and more inviting!

Cosy evenings pending ⌛️

With such a big fireplace it's hard to know how to really do it justice. With this pre-loved wood burner we think we did a roaring job!
