Higher Dart is a cosy cottage to let holidays & weekends besides the River Dart, FBI and Anchorstone in the beautiful village of Dittisham, near Dartmouth. It includes a Sitting Room and Kitchen on the ground floor, a Half Landing arranged as an Office/workspace and a large Bedroom furnished with a King Size Bed and Bunks, suitable for a Couple with Children - snd Family Bathroom off the bedroom.

There is no outside space, but the cottage is only eight doors from the beach and The Ham is five minutes walk.

‼️UPDATE‼️

Finally got the 🚦green light from South Hams Council and Listed Buildings so that we can start the much needed renovation work on our lovely cottage

Keeping our fingers crossed that Adrian the builder doesn’t keep discovering too many more “surprises” and that we can start to make some progress so that the cottage is watertight ☔️, dry and cosy for the years to come 🤞

We are replacing the flat roof at the back of the property and replacing lots of the internal ceilings, rafters and walls. Lots of insulation going in too.

Grateful to our kind neighbours who are bearing with us whilst we carry out the much needed TLC 🥰 work

Almost 1 year on from buying Higher Dart we are hoping that 2025 is the year of the Cosy Cottage! 🙏

UPDATE ‼️🔔‼️

We aren't taking any bookings / reservations for 2024 as we undertake some much needed work on our lovely cottage.

Fear not : Higher Dart Cottage will be back later this year / early 2025 and available for short breaks and holidays.

We cant wait to share our renovation and redecoration photos with you and we are currently working with Listed Buildings to ensure all work is carried out sympathetically 💙
