🎙️ We were thrilled to have Sophie Pierce and Matt Newbury aboard 75014 Braveheart, recording an episode of their "Agatha Christie in Devon" podcast! 🚂

The episode dives into Agatha's love for trains, something she described as "one of my favourite things" in her autobiography. They even traveled back with the driver and sounded the whistle as part of our Footplate Experience! 🎉

And don’t forget our live music with Nick the Fish on Tuesday evening and then on Saturday a fun afternoon and evening with James Harris and Closer To The Coast! Just can’t wait! There will be a break in the music so we can watch the fireworks - always spectacular from the Royal Dart Yacht Club terrace!

Tuesday 27th August:
Seine Boat Rowing - good luck to all competitors
Jack Wotton Accoustic Music -12:00 at the bandstand
Catering Stands & Regatta Bar
Adult Crab Fishing Competition (register 17:30 on South Embankment adjacent to the old hospital)
Regatta Ball (a ticketed event)

Around town there’s also lots to see and do; the Regatta Tennis Tournament, Spot the Oddity, Best Dressed Window, Children’s Colouring Competition, Yacht Racing and the Dinghy Racing. And Regatta Darts continues this evening at Dartmouth Yacht Club - men’s doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles, with registration from 7pm.

And don’t forget to purchase your Regatta Souvenir Programme and also the Competitors Programme from Dartmouth Visitor Centre or our Regatta Information Hut by the Bandstand. Regatta Souvenir Mugs are on sale at the Information Hut.

🌟 Exciting News for Dartmouth! 🌟

As many of you may be aware, the new Banking Hub in nearly ready to open, it will officially open tomorrow Wednesday 28th August which is just in time for the Dartmouth Royal Regatta!

We’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to Anthony Mangnal and Dartmouth Town Cllr Mike Rowley for their invaluable support in making this happen. Also thanks go to our District Cllrs who supported this. This Banking Hub will be a fantastic asset to both our local businesses and residents, providing essential services right in the heart of Dartmouth.
