Called down to the lodge today and we are pleased to say it's all looking well. Earlier in the year there was some clearing work carried out around the lake, it's amazing how the pampas grass has grown back. :-)

I went to stay in Hazelwood with a friend for a long weekend, we stayed in one of the caravans, which was newly refurbished, and the quality was immaculate—very comfortable beds and sofas. We had a hot tub also, which was a lovely treat in the evenings! John the manager was very friendly and accommodating. There’s a lot to see around either it is a quick drive to Powderham Castle or a train to Teignmouth.

Rooms
Very comfortable rooms. I stayed in a bedroom with a small en suite (shower cabin) which was very good, and the second bedroom had two single beds, which were comfortable also—big second bathroom with bath in it.

Nearby activities
Couple of restaurants and pubs, the entire beach fairground and shops

Walkability
Short walk to the beach and entertainment. Train station just round the corner.

Luxury, Great view, Great value
