Ive taken a couple of snaps recently whilst on the golf course, whats your favourite?
Called down to the lodge today and we are pleased to say it's all looking well. Earlier in the year there was some clearing work carried out around the lake, it's amazing how the pampas grass has grown back. :-)
The weather is looking great for the next week with some warm sunshine and plenty of blue skies😎

I went to stay in Hazelwood with a friend for a long weekend, we stayed in one of the caravans, which was newly refurbished, and the quality was immaculate—very comfortable beds and sofas. We had a hot tub also, which was a lovely treat in the evenings! John the manager was very friendly and accommodating. There’s a lot to see around either it is a quick drive to Powderham Castle or a train to Teignmouth.

Rooms
Very comfortable rooms. I stayed in a bedroom with a small en suite (shower cabin) which was very good, and the second bedroom had two single beds, which were comfortable also—big second bathroom with bath in it.
Nearby activities
Couple of restaurants and pubs, the entire beach fairground and shops
Walkability
Short walk to the beach and entertainment. Train station just round the corner.

We couldn't agree more, and Willos lodge looks directly out on Heron lake! Its been stunning weather so far and the sea temperature is on the up :-)

A glorious morning in sunny Devon this morning. Lots of bird activity on the lake out the front, and, we have left some binoculars so visitors can enjoy the bird life from the balcony😎

Winter may be upon us but that also brings fantastic bird spotting opportunities on the river Exe. A lot of “twitchers” head for the warren to view the amazing wildlife, and its only ten minute walk from Hazelwood.
