We are gearing up for this years Dawlish bike and Trike show and we can not wait to see you all again!

Last year we raised over £4600. 100% of funds raised from this event goes directly to our veterans in need.

- The Lawn, Dawlish, Devon.
- Sunday the 1st September 2024
- 10AM - 4PM
- £4 Per Bike (Cash only and pay on entry)

Great activities for all the family at Teignmouth Regatta

I'm looking forward to seeing what you create at this years Pavement Artist Competition! You can join in tomorrow (Monday 29th July) the competition starts at 10am on the seafront. All the details from Teignmouth Regatta organisers below 🥰
Children are invited to draw a picture using chalk onto a paving slab. To qualify all competitors must work alone. Limited chalk is available, or children are welcome to bring their own. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group.
No registration required. Look out for Teignmouth Regatta's yellow banners on the promenade, near the Ice Cream Hut, between skate park and Venus cafe.
Entry fee: Free
Age categories: 0-5 years; 6-8 years; 9-11 years; 12-16 years

Dawlish! 📍

Nestled between the Teign Estuary and the Exe Estuary, Dawlish is a traditional seaside town perfect for coastal getaways. Its long sandy beach is ideal for swimming, exploring rock pools and building sandcastles. 🐚 🌊

The vibrant town offers a variety of takeaways, cafés, amusement and shops, all centered around The Lawn and The Brook. Dawlish is also famous for its resident black swans, which can be seen swimming along The Brook alongside other birds, making it a charming destination for nature lovers and families alike.

Great shout Devon with Kids! Love visiting The Donkey Sanctuary 🫏🥰

On day 22 of my summer countdown I want to give a shout out to a free attraction to visit in East Devon.

is a wonderful place to get acquainted with these beautiful creatures and support a brilliant charity.

Entry and parking are free. But there are plenty of ways to donate during your visit, from collection boxes to a trip to the lovely restaurant and the Golden Carrot Trail that is happening over the summer.

Use the trail map to search for orange carrots hidden across the sanctuary saying hello to donkeys and mules along the way. Then use the information you’ve discovered to find the treasure chest with a golden carrot to win a prize. Each trail sheet costs £5 and includes a gift on completion.

Don’t forget to explore the maze too!
