Rail News. There is a change of steam locomotive to be used for powering the English Riviera Express on Saturday 6th July and presumable for the Golden Hind on Thursday 11th July. The locomotive being ex LNER 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley.

The spring flowers on the path upto the hideaway are now starting to bloom. It helps to support our local bees and insects. While staying at the hideaway you may also notice some of the solitary bumble bees who have set up home in the cob wall that surrounds the private outside space. You can enjoy this all year round, but particularly in the summer as it is a peaceful sun trap.

Now the weather is starting to improve how about booking a getaway to Dawlish to make the most of the south Devon coast. The hideaway is fully booked for May but we have some availability through the summer for 3 or more night breaks. We continue to recieve 5*reviews with most guests mentioning clean, spacious and peaceful.
