The Deal Community Connection History Night at the The Astor Community Theatre on Tuesday 26th November will be showing the Deal Icebreakers Boxing Day Dip film. If you would like to know the history of the Dip this is the film to watch, it is a very entertaining film created by Laurie Philp & Lesley Philp.

Our lovely Peggy is up for sale. She is the roomiest 2 bed static and she has an en-suite loo off the main bedroom. Brand new mechanism and mattress in the sofa bed in the lounge (and no one has used it).

We rent it out via AirBnb and Booking dot com so if you want to make a small profit, we will gladly transfer the Booking dot com listing over along with the caravan and all its contents, bedding, Pots, Pans crockery, towels, TV, iron, hair dryer, etc.

It is possible to purchase on site at St. Margaret's Bay Caravan Park - which includes owners passes for you and your friends and family, free access to entertainment, pools and Gym, discount in the bar and restaurant and free member events. 5 Years left on Tenure but the park will be flexible if she’s still in good nick (which she will be).

Or you can have Peggy taken to the site of your choice.

She has done a sterling job and she's sturdy, has no leaks and
comes with Gas fire, Gas fired water heater (recently refurbished), up to date electric and gas certificates. Electric panel heaters, electric blanket for the chilly nights in November and December.

All this for £16k or make us an offer!

A reminder that tomorrow as part of the Dover Youth Festival we will be exploring the tale of the River Spirit who inhabits the River Dour and protects the town. The event is open to all 11-19 year olds and is free to attend. Booking though is essential. This event is a prelude to a series of celebrations to be held next summer.

Here are the autumn opening hours for South Foreland Lighthouse, the lighthouse shop and Mrs Knott's tea room:
- Friday - Monday 11 am - 5 pm until Monday 21 October.
- Friday 25 October and Saturday 26 October 11 am - 5 pm.
- Sunday 27 October until Sunday 3 November 11 am - 3 pm.
Lighthouse guided tours operate from 11 am on open days. The last tour is at 5 pm or 3 pm from Sunday 27 October.
