As we gear up for another exhilarating week filled with music, dancing, and entertainment, we couldn't be more thrilled about the incredible line-up of music, dancers, stalls and attractions that await our festival-goers. With our expanded funfair and the introduction of a brand new crazy golf course, this year's festival promises to be a thrilling and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

From Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, the Guildhall forecourt, Market Street, and The Quay will come alive with a diverse array of stall holders.

Join us as we celebrate the return of live music, community spirit, and a vibrant festival atmosphere at the Sandwich Folk & Ale Festival 2023. We look forward to creating lasting memories and unforgettable.

Two dates for the diary, 5th & 20th Aug 🏴‍☠️

We have two events this coming August.
On Saturday 5th August we have the Treasure Hunt in support of Leaps & Bounds Community Project and on Sunday 20th August we have the Picnic at The Sandown Castle Community Garden.
Both events were a success in 2022 and we are expecting this years 2 events to be bigger and better.

Overground Underground Tour on Saturday 17th June!
We have only eight tickets left for Max's fantastic Overground Underground Tour next Saturday. Max will lead you along the route of the Tunnels above ground while telling you their history and the stories of those who used them along the way. You will then descend via a ladder into our newly cleared Arklow Square entrance, then down the steps and continue the tour below ground.

Fossil hunting anyone? 🔨

Have you tried fossil hunting? Our experienced instructors will help you find incredible fossils deep within the shale and mudstone. Using hammers and goggles to safely break open the rock to uncover the fossils, its a great activity for adults and children!
