'Discover Delight in Distinctive Derry' - guided architectural walking tour (3 hours). Small groups of 8-10 people (maximum) are led personally by local architect and urbanist Mary Kerrigan. Mary is a Getty Scholar 2018 (Los Angeles) and SPAB Scholar (London).
Passionate about opening your eyes to all that's special in places everywhere, she leads this walking tour from Derry's historic edge to its centre, helping people get under the skin of the place and appreciate what's great about their own.
Moderate fitness levels are required. Though this is mostly a downhill walk, there are a few uphill sections and one or two short flights of steps. Dress warmly, equipped for wind and rain. Comfortable flat shoes recommended.
Tours depart @ 9.30am sharp. Meet inside Gwyn's Cafe (within the grounds of Brooke Park) Derry~Londonderry, BT48 0HH. Please arrive not later than 10 mins before tours depart.
Suitable for age 16+
£75/pp (max. 10, min. 4 people). Private Tour arrangement £600 (min. 1 person). Please message for further information and to place a booking.
