Set in beautiful, tranquil countryside 3 miles from the Historic City of Londonderry / Derry and only 10 minutes from Donegal with marvelous scenery. The beautiful location is in the middle of the Glendermott Valley and has panoramic views of the Derry Veagh Mountains in Donegal. Located 20 minutes from City of Derry Airport you can explore the city and its fabulous surround

ings including The Walls, Guildhall Square, Museums, Foyle Cruises, Theatres and also the number of Restaurants and bars to experience. Drumcorn Farm Cottage has a large spacious lounge with an open fire (fuel for the fire will be provided). All rooms within Drumcorn Farm Cottage are heated by the oil fire central heating. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen/dinette including cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer and microwave. The cottage also has a utility room which is complete with washing machine and tumble dryer. Other rooms within the cottage are 1 en-suite, 1 double room, 1 twin room. Main bathroom has a walk in shower, all towels and bed linen will be provided. Heating & electricity is included in the price. Outside of the cottage there is a BBQ area and also a large garden with garden furniture.

I finally met the Independent's Travel Editor Simon Calder today - socially distanced. What a gent.

At 00:01am this morning Simon became the first official customer in Northern Ireland's newly re-opened hotel sector - and he chose the Bishop's Gate Hotel here in the city.

Manager Ciaran O'Neill tells me his bookings are healthy - with 2 settings of afternoon tea already fully booked for later today.
