Which is highly favourable with all our customers, and helps us to improve customer safety and security as well as helping drivers and base staff work more efficiently. You can book a cab with us by calling our office direct, sending a text, downloading our app for iPhone and android or directly from our website. Our system will also automatically text you 3 times once a booking has been made firstly to confirm details of the booking, secondly to advise you that your vehicle is on the way, third text when vehicle arrives outside pick up place (this text will also contain details of the vehicle that has been dispatched including vehicle make, model, registration number, colour and after recent bad press for other local taxi firms as well as taking on board recent requests from customers we now include details of the driver including driver photo. Today, we gathered to bid farewell to our dear friend and colleague, Pete Dobson. It was a beautiful service, filled with memories and tributes to a man who dedicated 36 years to serving the taxi industry in Doncaster.

Thank you to everyone who attended and shared their stories about Pete. Your presence and support meant a great deal to his family and all of us at Absolute Cabs.

For those who were unable to attend, we’ve shared some pictures from the service. We also want to remind everyone that donations in Pete's memory can be made to the British Heart Foundation via the link provided on W Pinders Funeral Directors' website.

Rest in peace, Pete. You will be deeply missed.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague, Pete Dobson. Pete dedicated 36 years to the taxi industry in Doncaster, serving our community with unwavering commitment and kindness. His presence at Absolute Cabs will be greatly missed.

A short service will be held to honor Pete on Thursday, 30th May at 10:30 am at Barnby Moor Crematorium, Retford. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the British Heart Foundation. W Pinders Funeral Directors have Pete's obituary on their website, where you can find a link to make donations in his memory.

Pete was more than just a colleague; he was a friend to many and a cherished member of our team. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Pete.
