Despite a blustery start, as usual the very popular The Melplash Agricultural Society show was a great hit. With dozens of artisan food, drink and product stalls, a plethora of tasty snack offerings, and wine, spirit and coffee bars a plenty, ensuring everyone was well catered for☕

Ringside visitors enjoyed thrilling displays of every kind, including proud pooches parading & displaying their athletic skills. Cattle, sheep & goats enjoyed their trip to the show and strutted around to much applause 👏

The Dorset Hideaways team had a blast catching up with friends and owners, and many new acquaintances were made. Thank you to all concerned for another fabulous show, we look forward to next year! 🥳

Sherborne is a delightful, picturesque town with plenty to offer its visitors. It is dominated by the super golden-coloured Abbey which dates back to Saxon times. There is an abundance of medieval buildings, the picturesque Almshouse, two Castles as well as a couple of waterwheels 🏰

The town's narrow streets are lined with old grey stone buildings along with early timber-framed, gabled-ended houses and local Ham stone structures ✨

Although a busy business and market centre it still retains small and specialist businesses and it has become an important town in the region for Art and Antique Dealers.
