We’ve got the worst guests staying this week.

Don’t clean up after themselves, don’t conform to house rules, and never replace the toilet roll. Pretty sure they’ve pee’d in the garden more than once too. Just as well they’re cute 👬🏼

Last weekend we were invited to try MARA’s Neighbourhood Menu - a deal for locals living within 50 miles of Links House. We had a great experience and could not recommend the staff or food enough! There’s sometimes an expectation that fine dining means you’ll be hungry after, but all 3 of us were the most full we think we’ve ever been 😅 Here’s what we got…all for £50pp

- Mignardise (this is the sour things we had at the end 😆)

📍Cromarty

Highly recommend a day trip to Cromarty if you’re visiting the area.

We parked up at Nigg and went on the wee 2-car ferry as foot passengers Highland Ferries. The crossing took 15 mins max and was much more exciting than the usual hour long drive it would normally take from Dornoch.

First stop was Slaughterhouse Coffee which is right at the terminal as you arrive. Great location for stone throwing too!

For lunch we ordered food from Sutor Creek Take-Away & Deli - BEST pizza I’ve ever had 🍕 with pints from The Royal Hotel on the beach 🏖

Great way to spend a sunny day in the Highlands!

Delighted to receive Superhost status this morning 🥳 It’s taken a while as the majority of our bookings are direct; however this year has definitely been busier with bookings on Airbnb from overseas - long may it continue ⛳️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Doing it again this weekend.
Collect your bag from the wheelchair shed from 10.30am and return by 1pm to claim your voucher.

We will exchange your bag of marine plastic for recycling and you will receive a voucher for a free ice cream cone at Dornoch Stores.
We do have environmentally sustainable gloves and bags but recommend a gardening glove for picking up.
