Delighted that our latest guests have had a great time in Mary’s View ☺️

Two more check ins and then that’s it for the season. 🥰

It’s been a very tough season for us as a family and I just wanted to say thank you so much to each and everyone of you for your kind words, flowers, cards and sweets for Brady it’s all been very much appreciated and the cuddles when there’s just no words.

Thank you for showing there’s more good than bad in this world at a time we really need it 💙🌻

As you all know we’ve had the wee competition running on our page for a stay in Roy’s Retreat that was due to be completed yesterday the 20th of October.

My son and I were unfortunately involved in a car accident a couple weeks ago, where a driver has hit us at speed on the A9. This has been hard for us as I’m sure you can appreciate with what we’ve already been through this year.

I’ve not been able to get on top of all the entries so please bear with me while I work my way through it all and I will do the draw as soon as I can. 🌻

Our new addition in Roy’s Retreat truly is such an amazing pitch on the park. Watching the wild waves the last couple of days to then be treated to a beautiful wee show between the rain and clouds of the Northern Lights last night right up until 0630 this morning.

I was fortunate enough to be staying here this week to witness it last night and to wake up to a showing of the most amazing sky at 0600 😍

Laying in bed this morning in Roy’s Retreat watching the sky was quite the experience.

Really hoping it continues for my lovely guests checking in to Roy’s Retreat and Mary’s View tonight 💜💙🌌

I saw so many rainbows yesterday on my way up to Embo so I decided to ask for the key to have a look at the van down by the beach and as I sat in the lounge looking out to where the sea meets the sky I said ‘Oh Roy Boi how amazing would this be,

Unspoiled sea views right above where we got married and spent one of the happiest days of our lives together’

I could actually hear him saying as he did when we upgraded to the Beaumont Lodge last year ‘LETS DO IT’

Well as I got up to change seats to see what the view was like another rainbow appeared. Almost to assure me yes Shirl girl do it!

Well today I did it and Roy’s Retreat has been born and I kid you not when I went to sign the paper work the wind and rain blew up a storm all round me with the exception of over the van, just as it did on our wedding day 💙

Marys View will remain where she is as the Beautiful Beaumont Lodge with the same fantastic sea view and they will both provide a special place for making special memories with your special people. 💙

We’ve seen the Northern Lights more this year than any other.

Absolutely such a magical experience.

Best times in my experience to see it up here is usually in March-April and September-November time but this year it was beautiful in August.

These last two years we’ve experienced some pretty amazing skies from sunsets to sunrises and everything in between.

When you experience these beautiful scenes it makes your stay that extra bit special.

Our new gorgeous Beaumont Lodge has proved very popular this season and looks to be same for next year.

Limited availability already for the 2025 season round school summer holidays with April & October already fully booked.

Some of you may not be aware but my wonderful husband has sadly passed away on the 8th of March after being involved in a serious RTC. We are devastated beyond words and are trying to come to terms with our tragic loss.

I will still honor all our bookings as I know he would want me to carry on, Roy loved Embo as much as we all do. My diary was in the car and it doesn’t seem to have been recovered. 😔

If you have a booking with me can you please message me to confirm your dates (it will already be in the message I’ve confirmed with you) but to save me going through the hundreds of messages as my heads in a pickle just now. If you’ve messaged in the last three weeks and haven’t had a response this is why.

Most of you had met Roy but for those who hadn’t here’s a lovely picture with his trademark smile 💙

The Northern Lights are still going strong out there. Absolutely stunning. But I’ve been out since 2200 and it’s freezing cold🥶 so now nice n cozy indoors.

Those Bonnie lights are trying to get through the cloud 😁

One of the best things about Embo is there’s no light pollution. This time last year (2nd picture)we got these amazing pictures with the camper and never did I ever see so many folk down the beach in their PJ’s😂

Here’s hoping the cloud disappears and they come through like that again 🙏🏼

Wow I’ve just realised it’s 6 years ago today that Mary’s View was born!

What better way to celebrate going in to 7 years than with a new lodge for all of our happy regular and new guests making fantastic memories up here at Grannies Heilan Hame.

Personally I’ve been coming up here for nearly 40 years 😃 and I never tire of Embo 🥰

My current guests got up super early yesterday to enjoy a beautiful sunrise 🌅😀🤩

Our new ABI Beaumont Lodge is proving so popular! Pure luxury with a Seaview! With a front and back deck with rattan furniture on both decks you can watch the sun rise and set 🥰 A bench that opens up with an array of outdoor toys for the kids and for rainy days a great selection of board and card games 😀 Fully stocked with everything you could need for a perfect seaside getaway 😊 All you need is yourselves!

So………..🤩😃🥰😁 Mary’s View is having a wee upgrade. It’s not quite a lodge but a good bit bigger than Mary’s View. Sleeps 6 and will still keep its great positon on park with a lovely sea view and big green for the kiddos to play while sitting on the back deck enjoying the sunset 🌅 The only van on site that has a full wrap round front to back deck with luxury outdoor furniture on both decks! Here’s a wee peek of what to expect from the brand new 2022 Abi Beaumont aka Mary’s View II I can’t wait to welcome you all for another season of fun and laughter and happy days full of fantastic memories in Embo!
