After 280 miles of Cornish costline , I today left Cornwall having also passed the 400 mile mark of my Journey. I certainly have a new appreciation of it's beauty and the people. I Def will return !

I started today knowing it was potentially a challenging section....forecast said showers....1mm of rain....slightly wrong ! Got beyond wet.....drenched to the bone,high winds, path became a river, clambering over rocks....after 5 hours made it to a pub to dry off ! I was ready to quit, but have been rescued by the nicest Air B&B hosts....cozy bed for the night....doing to best to dry everything. And you never quit on a bad day....

I'll be setting off in about 2 weeks time to walk the 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset all the way back to Poole in Dorset over the course of a couple of months. It will be a physical challenge day after day logging the miles, a mental challenge giving up my physical comforts, but also a wonderful opportunity to discover just how beautiful the UK coast line can be :-)
