Elaine from our Reservations team has recently returned from an incredible trip to Sicily, where she stayed in both Ortigia and Taormina. ๐ŸŒž In Ortigia, she joined a guided walking tour, wandered through the vibrant markets, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. She also took a scenic boat trip around the island, with a refreshing swim by the stunning Minareto. Ortigia has completely captured her heartโ€”it's now one of her absolute favourite spots in Sicily! ๐Ÿ’š

My favourite island is obviously Sicily, the island I come from. Its mixture of culture, beautiful beaches and towns, history and great food makes it unique in the world.

My favourite food in Sicily isโ€ฆ everything! Possibly with a good glass of Nero dโ€™Avola. And I always have a glass of rosรฉ when I go to Corsica.
While in Sardinia I just canโ€™t stop having Fregola for dinner, together with a glass of Vermentino and some Carasau bread.

Sicily: The best way of touring Sicily is by hiring a car, but donโ€™t expect to be able to see the whole island in one week. My favourite excursions are the one to the Mount Etna and the own to the Baroque towns in the South.
Sardinia: Donโ€™t miss a boat trip to the Maddalena Archipelago!
Corsica: If you want a scenic entrance to Corsica, then take the ferry from Sardinia. Corsica coastline is just amazing seen from there.
