I thought I would post a link to the film we made about the Magic Woman (Ben Obbee in Manx) who was burned at the stake in Castletown in the 17th century.

Her crime was to imagine that there is nothing that does not posses a soul - a form of animism. Many scientists now seriously consider that all stuff must have some consciousness baked into it. So the film is dedicated to all those who we called Witches who died for standing up for their truth.

The famous poem ‘Do not stand at my grave and weep..’ is now the most popular reading at eulogies in Britain. It gives me and others hope that death merely changed loved ones into the winds, sunlight, rain, birds, and plants - regardless of human moral judgements - their spirit re-animated and is the starting point for the film.
