The weather finally cleared up for a days ride out with Brad & Gillian from NSW, Australia. En route to Scotland after two weeks of riding in the Alps & Pyrennes, they wanted to tick the TT course box! The pit lane has just been updated with the MGP hoardings, with practice starting tomorrow….

Fantastic weather here on the Island today, so out for a ride with Stefan from Heidelberg, Germany. He arrived by cruise ship, so we had to make sure he was back in time to catch the motor launch before cut-off!!

Thursday’s guided ride was with pro musician John from Kent. It was the only window in an otherwise really stormy week. Felt sorry for all the motorcycle journalists who were over for the Metzeler tyre launch and had the mountain road to themselves (zero visibility 🤷‍♂️).

Can’t believe it’s 40 years ago today that I made my racing debut at Flookburgh circuit in Cumbria (now gone!). Think I managed 7th place in the heat race before getting too giddy and crashing later on 🤷‍♂️. Happy Days

After a manic TT fortnight it’s nice to get back to a little normality. A massive thank you to all of our bike hire customers, who this year came from Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, America, Canada, Uruguay, Germany, Holland, France, Italy, Brazil, Slovakia & Dubai ….🥵. The Aussie invasion continues! This is Chris & Bobbie from Queensland who finally managed to arrive on the Island after a 24 hour delay in Manchester 🫤. We had a great ride in dry but threatening conditions, stopping for lunch in Peel (see photo). Thanks again guys and enjoy the rest of your 4 week European adventure 👍🇮🇲

An invasion from north of the border (Scotland) for Saturday’s first guided ride tour of 2023. Five lads from Berwick based Bass Rock Bikers arrived just as the weather cleared, so I even dug my own GS1200 out to keep things uniform. Cracking days ride covering over 110 miles in perfect conditions 👍

First guided ride tour of the year! This is Jeff from Ontario, who escaped the snow and freezing Canadian weather to arrive at a snowy and freezing IOM….With the mountain road still closed, the western coast road to Peel offered a warmer, sunnier alternative ❄️❄️.

After a busy Manx Grand Prix is was nice to get back to quieter roads and spend the day with Emery & Sharon from BC, Canada. Weather conditions were perfect, with just the slightest hint of autumn in the air.

Last night we said farewell to our trusted SV650, a bike that has been with us since day 1 when we launched the business in January 2013. This bike never missed a beat and was super reliable until we pensioned her off to be a spare bike at the end of 2018. Photo shows collection by its new owner, Fergus, a really nice young lad just setting out on his life on two wheels. Wishing him best of luck, enjoy and ride safe 👍..🇮🇲

As the dust has finally settled after TT 2022, thought I would post a few pictures taken during the fortnight. Thankfully, it was a very busy fortnight for our small business and a nice safe one. We will be opening our TT 2023 book of business on 1st July, where early enquiries have been really strong. Please email us if you are looking for a nice bike at next years event…🇮🇲
