Storm Eowyn hit Strangford pretty hard, we took some damage at Quarry Hill Church but everyone is safe. Power is back and we're making repairs, could have been much worse. Sending best wishes to everyone still impacted all over Ireland. 🫶

We are proud to announce the publication of our latest book, Built to Last, Restoration and Reuse of Buildings at Risk. Bringing built heritage assets back into use is not only a sustainable approach to building but celebrates the character and history of places and advances community cohesion.

It can be a challenge to find the right new uses for heritage buildings at risk and to manage their redevelopment but there are those who rise and have risen to it brilliantly and many more can be inspired to do so! Normally we are not so keen on uninvited night time visitors at www.quarryhillchurch.com but these guys are residents!
At this time of year our hedgehogs are active patrolling the church looking for tasty slugs and snails. You might be super lucky and spot hoglets (that's right, baby hedgehogs!).
