It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to William 'Lord of Winterfell' who passed away this morning surrounded by his loved ones at home after a long battle with cancer.

William was an inspiration to us all and one of the best guides who has ever donned a cloak.

Winterfell Castle will never be the same.

His watch has ended.
