We currently have the weekend at the end of August available. It's the Freedom Festival Hull that weekend 28th - 1st of September.

The property is 27 minutes away by train into . So why not have a weekend break and enjoy the amazing festival!

Bridlington calling.. Jump on the train which is 400 metres from the property and you can be next to the seaside in around 30 minutes.

There's plenty to see and do in Bridlington along with the lovely beaches there are traditional fish n chips shops, ice cream shops and coffee shops as well as independent traders.

For the kids (big and small) the Bridlington leisure centre has an amazing swimming pool with slides.

There's also the Bridlington Spa for music and other events. If you're near the Spa you should check out the wonderful food from the Old Life Boat Station. As well as Martin's gorgeous from Dockside Restaurant.

You can also have your fix of tasty local seafood from our friends at Arnolds Fisheries.

If you're in Bridlington at a weekend you might be able to see some local traders at the weekly market (also on a Wednesday) or grab some food from Bridlington King Street Market food festival there are also some other stalls of interest.

The photo is from one of our early morning swims (we swim all year round) in North Bay, it's a great way to start the day or cool down during these hot days..

Next stop Hull ('ull)! With a train station a couple of hundred of metres away you can easily jump on the train to Hull - which is a 27 minute journey.

Hull boosts a number of amazing buildings from the days of being a major fishing port and has a lot of history from over the years.

There are lot of things to see and do in Hull, with aquaruim, marina, musuems and the Art Gallery are free to enter.

A couple of suggestions of places to visit:

It's the 2nd Hull Street Food Nights on Thursday night, it should be a great night in Zebedee's Yard in Hull (near Princess Quay Shopping Centre). Live music, great drinks and food! Set in an amazing location! 🥳

The Easter holidays are nearly here and we are SO excited about what activities we have to offer 🐰🌸

The Active Coast Easter activity programme is bursting with a wide range of fun, high quality activities for you to join in either alone or as a family along the East Riding Coastline!
