Last week we hosted a family through .

They were a pleasure to have stay, and we have thoroughly enjoyed giving the opportunity to a family who needed a much deserved break at our little corner of tranquil paradise.

We hope they feel well rested and made some beautiful memories together ❤️

We’ve created a little herb garden to sit outside the kitchen French doors 🪴

We hope our guests can enjoy a bit of home cooking with some fresh ingredients in our big family farm-house style kitchen!

With special thanks to our maintenance man Chris for building the planter and for the cute plant markers!

With quality bed linen, and decorative cushions, our beds are a dream to return to after a busy day exploring Yorkshire or celebrating with family in friends.

We often get asked where our mattresses come from as they offer such a dreamy nights sleep!

We are excited to be able to support Harry's Pals Charity from this summer, and we hope we can help give some much deserved families the opportunity to make some memories together!

Harry’s Pals provides emotional support to parents of severely ill or disabled children. They help families find coping mechanisms so they can feel more equipped moving forwards as a family.

Our designated accessible bedroom and wetroom en-suite, ground floor living and ramped garden allow families with accessibility needs to enjoy much needed family time together.

We are very much looking forward to meeting our visiting families starting this summer! ☀️

Kipling House Barn is a luxury self-catering barn conversion situated high on the Yorkshire Wolds. We have eight ensuite bedrooms so are perfect for groups with up to 22.

We completed a beautiful circular trail run starting and ending at Goodmanham over the weekend, which followed the Wolds Way National Trail.

At approximately 10km, we passed through Market Weighton and the Giant Bradley Statue, along a stream, up to Londesborough Park and back out to the picturesque village of Goodmanham where we stopped to get a bite to eat at The Fiddle Drill!

Goodmanham is about a 5 minute drive from our Barn.
