Stratton House is positioned in the beautiful picturesque village of Burton Fleming, central to Scarborough and Bridlington. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment and has been finished to a particularly high standard by the owners themselves. There is a large fantastic West facing fenced garden (So sun trap in the summer evenings) with stone patio 5m x 4m and a raised grass and planted area with fantastic garden lighting over steps and patio. You can come and visit the stunning landscapes close by that inspired Artist, David Hockney to paint this beautiful part of East Yorkshire.

For those regular visitors to @strattonhouseholidaycottage you may never have seen our wolds chalk stream, the Gypsey Race when it is flowing. Starting in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds and ending in Bridlington Harbour, it usually flows until about May, so plenty of time to book a stay and see this rare natural phenomenon.
