UHI is in need of Casual Researchers!
The University of the Highlands and Islands working in association with The Loch
Ness Hub & GURCA, wants to recruit a small number of casual researchers to
undertake visitor surveys in and around Drumnadrochit over the summer. These
surveys form one stage of a larger project to develop a better understanding of the
tourist industry in the local area and how it can be sustainably managed and
developed going forward.
We are looking for self-motivated, outgoing and reliable individuals who can work
flexible hours in July, August and September. A basic understanding of IT
equipment would be advantageous as the surveys will be completed on a tablet.
The rate of pay will be £12 per hour. Hours are variable and to be agreed but could
typically be 35 – 100 hours over this period. Some weekend work will be required.
Access to a car would be desirable but not necessary.
