An excellent night all about the Galloway Hoard, which was found in a field in the Glenlochar area.
A talking being hosted by the Balmaghie Sacred Landscape Trust in the Balmaghie Kirk, Glanlochar on the 30th of October will be worth a visit.

This Sunday 29th September 👌
Another fantastic event at Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum

Well it's only 3 days until our Wings & Wheels show on Sunday 29th September.
The event is on from 10 until 3 and we'll have a number of classic cars, modified cars, motorbikes and trucks on display alongside or aircraft exhibits.
We'll have food available, dogs are welcome and normal museum prices apply for visitors. Vehicle exhibitors get free entry.
We also have lots of exhibits inside as well if the weather turns wet.

Our little of Nithsdale is on this tv program about the various rivers in Scotland, the river Nith is a heart of the community. The program shows the rivers development from the border of Ayrshire right down to the Solway Firth.
