Dalswinton Estate, Dalswinton, Dumfries

Dalswinton Estate, situated 7 miles North of Dumfries, require a full-time experienced stockperson to join our existing team.
The full spectrum of works associated with our 500 herd of spring calving suckler cows will be required. Key responsibilities include herd health & fertility, stock husbandry, with high standards of welfare and safety maintained, day to day running of the beef enterprise and working alongside a strong team.
Competitive Salary with bonus scheme

Beech leaves and bluebells

Thankyou to everyone who visited Dalswinton at the weekend and gave so generously. Thankyou too , to all those volunteers that helped at the gate . The bluebells and The fresh green of the newly opened Beech leaves was perfect ! Next year , we shall have the teas back again !

Thankyou to all those visitors who come and walk at Dalswinton and donate in the little ( now yellow ) box beside the Loch . Last week I counted out £150 in contributions. Thus all goes to Scotland’s gardens Scheme charities: Maggies , Perennial and the QNIS . Thankyou hugely on their behalfs ! 😊😊

The Gardens around the house are all open to the Public next weekend, Saturday 15th and Sunday 15th May, 10am-5pm each day in aid of Scotland's Gardens Scheme. Entry by donation all for Charity and one off picnics allowed around the Loch and in the Walled Garden ,as we are unable to serve teas as usual!
