Newlands Care Home

Newlands Care Home A place for updates and information on events. Newlands is a Gracious Victorian House set in 3/4 of an acre of beautiful gardens overlooking Dunfermline.

We are registered to care for 22 residents in single rooms and the home also has 2 living rooms a dinning room, conservatory and an activity room. At Newlands our team of staff have been selected not only for their experience but also because of their dedication and commitment to ensuring that all residents in the home have a happy and fulfilling life.

🎉🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉🎉

What a fantastic start to the year, we started the day with a visit from Dean Saunders Piper who was amazing as always and the residents had a great time singing and clapping along.

Then in the afternoon we played some just dance on the Nintendo wii to get us all moving and to build up an appetite.

The cook prepared a wonderful 3 course meal for us to celebrate the New Year and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The residents in-between courses played some games, won some prizes and together with the staff there were many laughs and smiles all round.

I think we may all need to sleep for a week to recover from the fun and activities over the last week but what an amazing festive period it has been.

Follow us into 2025 to see all the wonderful things the residents plan and take part in as our wellbeing programme evolves and grows over the year.

Fun, laughter, and festive cheer filled the home today on Christmas day.

The residents had a fabulous day finished off with a 3 course Christmas diner which went down a treat. Compliments all round to the cook.

The residents, drank, laughed and were merry whilst they enjoyed their Christmas meal and played some games between courses with the staff.

The staff behind the scenes worked their socks off today from the domestics to the cook and all of the carers to make sure the residents had the best Christmas day possible.

🎄CHRISTMAS RAFFLE TIME🎄

It's that time of year again where we raise funds for our residents to use throughout the year on supplies, entertainment and equipment. This is very much needed and appreciated and each ticket sold goes a long way.

Tickets are £3 and we have some amazing prizes. Each ticket will be allocated a number between 1 and 300.

1st prize 20% of money raised from ticket sales and 2nd prize 10% of money raised from ticket sales.
I'm sure we all could use at this time of year. 💵💵💵

We also have two alcohol hampers 🍾🍾🍾
a children's hamper 🍬🍬🍭🧸and a food hamper. 🍩🥞🍰.

Payment can be made in the home directly to senior staff or if you prefer tickets can be paid via PAYPAL
