We were honoured with a special visit from the famous Waverley on the Holy Loch today ⛴

Waverley is the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer and named after Sir Walter Scott’s Waverley novels. She was built to replace the 1899 Waverley which was sunk by enemy action on May 29, 1940 at Dunkirk. You can often spot her transporting day trippers across the Clyde but she took a small detour to visit Baileyfield today! 🤩

The lovely Blairmore cafe just a mile along the road from Baileyfield is owned by mother and daughter duo Helen and Morgan Dick. Pop along for a coffee and cake or a delicious meal. We took our grandchildren for brunch last weekend when they came for a visit and had to walk it off along the beach afterwards 🍽😋
