As of today, you can say goodbye to 100ml liquid limits and plastic bags in airport security at four UK airports…

It’s all because of high-tech scanners that are going live across airports in the UK. Experts reckon the new rules could save you an average of 30 minutes in airport queues. Happy days!

Current Rules:
- No liquids over 100ml in hand luggage
- All liquids in clear plastic bag (20cmx20cm)
- Electronics taken out of your bag

New Rules:
- Up to 2 litres of liquid in hand luggage
- Liquids no longer needed in clear plastic bag
- Electronics can stay in your hand luggage

Which UK airports?
As of today, these new rules go live at:
- Birmingham (Update: Slight delay with 2Ltrs)
- London City
- Newcastle
- Teeside

Built on three levels with a traditional Halki style, featuring a ground floor studio with inland view, Two bedroom apartment with views across the harbour located on the middle floor and an additional studio on the top floor with panoramic views across the harbour and Nisaki Island from the terrace area.
As with many of the properties on Halki, Stamatia Studios are within walking distance of the harbour area, a pathway leads you in the direction of a good selection of bars and restaurants.
Due to the elevated location of the property the walk back up the winding pathway at the end of the evening will ensure a good night’s sleep.

🍹A pretty pool area makes for the perfect spot for couples and families to relax at the Kosmas Apartments, in Roda, Corfu.
With ample sun loungers and umbrellas, all that is required is a good book, a towel and some sunglasses and you are set up for the day.

A pool bar serves drinks, snacks and hot meals throughout the day and also has a pool table and satellite TV. When the sun goes down, guests can take to the mic at the karaoke night, get a full house at bingo or simply enjoy happy hour.

It's always good to also sample traditional life at a Greek night or tuck into a barbecue. Clean, comfortable rooms sleep from two to five people and include a shower, kitchenette, air conditioning and private balcony.

There is free WiFi in the rooms and in public areas making it easy to stay in touch. Set back off the main road, the well-maintained complex is a short stroll to Roda town centre with the blue flag beach a little further on.

The long stretch of sand and shingle offers safe, shallow turquoise waters with lots of water sports, while the resort’s lively atmosphere never disappoints with a host of good bars, shops and tavernas. Jump on a bus to visit the rest of the island and there is a regular service to Corfu Town where historic sites blend effortlessly with shops selling jewellery and fashion.
