Day 1:
We travel to the Lake District, calling off at Kendal, home of the famous mint cake, before continuing the journey onto the Cumbria Grand Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we travel west to the town of Barrow-in-Furness. We spend some time here before continuing on a scenic drive through to Ambleside. A picturesque town located on Windermere where you can spend some time browsing its wide variety of independent stores, museums, and cafes. We then travel south alongside Lake Windermere to Bowness-on-Windermere, where a bustling tourist hotspot awaits with independent shops, interesting museums, and plenty of cafes, before returning to the hotel for the evening.
Day 3:
After breakfast, we travel to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park where we make our first stop in the idyllic village of Ingleton - a thriving Yorkshire Dales village located between the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, and Hawes.
After spending some time here, we continue on a scenic drive through the park, taking in the picturesque scenery, to the market town of Hawes. This town is the home of the Wensleydale Creamery where the famous Wensleydale Cheese is made.
Later, we travel west through the moors making a stop at Sedbergh, an attractive historic market town full of character from its cobbled streets to its historic houses, some of which show the hallmarks of the old knitting and woollen trades which made the area such a thriving community.
Day 4: After breakfast, we depart.
