We have two self catering cottages, Fern Cottage is in Gilesgate, Durham City and Dove Cottage is in Sherburn Village. All are rated 4 star by Visit England which means that they are well equipped to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Bothl cottages have WiFi so you can keep in touch during your stay. Fern Cottage is within walking distance of the city centre and the university, Dove Cotta

ge is a short bus ride into the city centre. There are supermarkets, pubs and a range of shops within walking distance of each cottage. The cottages are suitable for holidays, visiting friends or coming to Durham for business reasons. Bookings are taken for any length of stay from 3 days to several months. Durham City is well known for its stunning cathedral and castle, it is also a good base for exploring the North East and County Durham. Took advantage of it being closed before Christmas and had the outside patio and garden paths renewed at Dove Cottage.
Trevor and Alan have done a great job.
