As much as we love living in the , we do like to get away now and again and explore somewhere different. I took this video of Caroline this morning at the summit of the Bealach na Bà pass in . Near zero visibility, howling wind and driving rain made the very steep and winding single track road and interesting challenge on the motorcycle. The sign at the bottom advising inexperienced drivers not to try it was giving out sound advice.

Getting ready to start welcoming guests to again in April! The ongoing lockdown has given us the opportunity to catch up with a few extra maintenance tasks. Checkout the before and after of Caroline's efforts with the pressure washer on these teak loungers this morning. They will be the perfect compliment to the roof terrace this spring.

While we our local area it's very easy to get up close and personal with all kinds of animals, but what we hadn't realised was that horses and other livestock are getting sick and dying because an increasing number of people are venturing into the countryside and feeding them inappropriate food, or leaving it in their fields. Please don't feed the animals!
