A new Shakespeare Trail has been added to the “Discover Stroud Trails “ app. Go check it out…

A new Shakespeare Trail has been uploaded to the ‘Discover Stroud Trails’ app. It coincides with Visit Dursley’s ‘Shakespeare Summer in Dursley’ offering, which includes the current exhibition in the Heritage Centre exploring his links to the town.
The trail is based on a historic local route called ‘Shakespeare’s Walk', referenced by R W Huntley in 1868 and at that time, linked to the belief that William Shakespeare once lived in Dursley and may well have walked the same. It also explores the local points of interest linked to the Bard who appears to have made references to the local area in his works.
Download for FREE from the app stores today to explore the hidden gems and history in Dursley and the surrounding Market Towns. Dursley Visitor Information Centre
