It has many different paths to choose from. The woods are currently full of Bluebells and Wild garlic 😋
This place is perfect to explore with the kids or just to escape the rain 🌧

The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway 🚂 You will find this great little train in Porthmadog opposite the main train line. Enjoy a short journey to Pen y Mount Junction. On the way back, you stop at the museum that offers a lot of kids entertainment (my boys love it there), and on dry days, you can travel the miniature railway too 😀 There is also a cafe and shop on site. Ranging from 30 minutes - all day if you carry on up to the 3 lakes we have in the Rhinogs mountain range. The walk can start from your cottage or you can take a short drive to the Ysgethin car park in Talybont. Here are 3 luxury self catering cottages in the heart of Snowdonia. You have breathtaking views of the beach and the mountains.
Ffermdy - Sleeps 6, with 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin with an ensuite, 1 family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a large open plan kitchen/diner, a lounge with comfortable sofas with a log burner for those cosy winter nights.
Beudy - Sleeps 4, with 1 double and 1 twin room with dressing table in each, a shower room, a large kitchen/diner and the lounge has a cozy log burner. In the lounge you can step out onto your private patio and enjoy the views of the sea.
Bwthyn - Sleeps 6, with 2 double bedrooms (one is situated on the ground floor with an en-suite), and 1 twin room with tv and dvd player, 1 family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a lounge with stunning mountain views and the kitchen had a range style electric cooker and a dining table to have those family meals. (This property has been renovated in March 2019)
All cottages are located within a 5 minute walk to the beach, and have their own private patio area and BBQ. The garden is securely enclosed which is perfect for children.
