A Fairy Ring! Outside Beech Lodge.
There are lots of mythical stories surrounding fairy rings. Some cultures believe that they are portals to another world, while others say that the mushrooms are simply used as dinner tables for fairies. There is also the belief that they bring good luck and that they are a sign of a fairy village underground!

Once again we have won the Traveler’s Choice Award from Trip Advisor 😊 putting us in the top 10% of holiday venues in the world!
We are extremely grateful to those of you who took the time to write us a review.
To achieve the award we have to receive a good overall score (4.5 and above) BUT also a certain number of reviews each year. Trip Advisor does not disclose this number.

A big THANK YOU to all of our lovely recent visitors who left messages (in the guest books/via emails/texts etc) wishing Pete well with his double knee op!
Two and a half weeks on and he is doing really well 😊
Walked without crutches or sticks after three days and was back driving exactly two weeks following surgery.
No painkillers required any more.
Unbelievable.

Our smallest lodge ‘Ash’ is now our best selling lodge having recently overtaken Holly. Ash sleeps two and has a super king bed and of course a hot tub!
And for some reason it is the only lodge we have left on 1st April!
Who is going to grab it??

A huge thank you to Rose and Phil who stayed in Ash lodge last week!
They actually went shopping for these goodies so that we could then donate them to the Easingwold Food Bank!
We have, for some time encouraged our guests to leave unopened packets and tins of food when they pack up and go so we can take it down to the food bank trolley in the co-op. But Phil and Rose this was amazing!! So generous!
