🌟Mauritius🌟

So i was looking for an image that just screamed Mauritius…this seemed to tick the box🤣

So this week i am doing a spot light on Mauritius and in particular Beachcomber resorts!

So why Mauritius??🇲🇺

Ofcourse we all know Mauritius is famed for its perfect white sandy beaches and calm seas perfect for relaxing and beach hopping

But despite its small perimeter — just an hour and a half’s drive from coast to coast — Mauritius is a hive of activity if you want it to be.

Drive 20 minutes inland from the white sand that rings the island and you’ll be greeted by colourful houses and colonial churches standing alongside ornate Hindu temples

As you wind your way down the west coast, a terrain of lush sugarcane fields and banana plantations gives way to mountainous vistas.

The island is super safe a perfect place to be free to explore at ease and the prices of a trip to this paradise isle might just pleasantly surprise you!!

Why do i love Beachcomber ??

Firstly Beachcomber were the first resorts on the island which means they got first pick of the beaches so obviously they nabbed all the best ones!

Secondly they don’t build monstrosity’s! No resort is more than 2 stories high they aren’t big glaring tower blocks designed to squeeze as many holiday makers in as possible these are traditionally built beautiful resorts designed to perfectly compliment there tropical settings.. the resorts feel spacious and private and this feel is echoed through the restaurants and pool areas.

No hidden costs!! This is a big one!! Everything down to the water sports are included in your room costs no matter your room type!

But the real selling point…They are a small service lead business… just like mine … the countless tales from people returning to have experienced a service level far above and beyond what they would have even hoped for i cant wait to share with you!!

The last in my series of last minute spots to say goodbye to summer ☀️

In southern Italy the sun is still scorching on beautiful Puglia 🌿

And here sits the Masseria Corsanoa traditional 17th century farm house restored even beyond its former glory- im talking private hot tubs , cabanas by the impeccable pool and an incredible pool bar.

A secluded spot amongst to olive groves you can relax here . Eating in the Michelin recommended restaurant ; sipping cocktails at the pool bar, days by the pool and evenings in your private hot tub as the temperature cools off . The resort even boasts wine and cheese experts coming in to advise you on some of the things Italy does best! You can also explore the olive groves and forests with walking trails from the hotel or via horseback.

I have however chosen to include a car in this offer as despite its rural setting the hotel is in close proximity to a number of baroque beauties that it would be criminal not to explore! Lecce with it’s beautiful latte coloured buildings and cobbled streets or the leaser discovered Nardo and the fishing village of Gallipoll. Just the other side of the forest you find the sparkling seas and white sand beaches that rival the Caribbean and Gallipolli is famous for taking full of advantage if these waters and producing some incredible sea food. But your never far from a good meal wherever you are in Puglia, with so many traditional and incredible restaurants to discover …this area created burrata … need i say more?!

So with culture, scenery, food, drink and temperatures to die for, could this be the perfect way to end summer.

Dubbed the last paradise of the Algarve let me introduce to the Verdelago resort 🌊

Born between the forest and the ocean Verdelago is a brand new resort built sympathetically to blend seamlessly in to its pine forest setting . The resort has a focus on nature and well being with a restaurant 3 swimming pools, yoga classes, tennis courts, paddle courts, bikes to rent and explore the local area and of-course a myriad of water sports down on the shore.

With decked walkways over the dunes straight down to the expansive shores the resort not only does the resort have beach access to an absolute surfers paradise , you can follow the ocean front for miles , by foot ,By horseback this rugged coastline is yours to explore.
