Good afternoon to you all.

As some of you are aware, as an individual I have a vision for my business and it's future. Through passion and determination, this vision is becoming a reality a lot quicker than expected. As a result the majority of my work is coming through my sister brand Crosby & Bruce.

I had hoped to operate both brands covering a range in the market. Juggling the two is proving not viable and coming at a cost.

Therefore moving forward Awesome Scotland and all associated with it, will be closing down at the end of this season.

Bruntsfield Primary School, hidden to the south of Edinburgh in the hip Bruntsfield area.

Not only was this magnificent building my old school where I ran riots, but this was also the primary that the famous Sean Connery attended.

Sean Connery was Edinburgh born and bred, brought up in the Fountain Bridge area. He left schooling early and became a milk man in the city, delivering milk throughout the neighbourhoods. Ironically he also delivered milk to Fettes College private school... Fettes is the school that Ian Flemming wrote that James Bond attended.

When I was at Bruntsfield, Sean Connery was given the freedom of Edinburgh, the key to the city. This was an honour being bestowed upon him with an event being held at the Usher Hall. Our primary class were tasked with painting large banners to be suspended in the hall for his event. As a result Sean Connery came to visit our class at the school, bringing the news cameras with him. We were honoured, although some of us had no idea who he was. I was confused between him and Billy Connolly, a comedian from Glasgow.

In my class was Tom Parnell. He knew exactly who Sean Connery was, as his question came, he proceeded to ask Sean Connery his annual income after tax. Impressive question for a 9 year old.

an exact replica of our statue is in Calgary, Canada? 🇨🇦 Eric Harvie, a Calgary resident, made a significant donation to the public fund used to build the statue. He loved it so much that he asked for a second statue to be cast and given pride of place in his hometown!

What better way to end a great 8 day tour with Outlander fans than a sneaky stop at Lallybroch aka Midhope.

I have said it to many of you that follow this page. I love my job.... Yet again, the last 8 days are a prime example of how much.

A huge thank you to Peeler and Vaught for such a memorable and pleasurable experience. It really didn't feel like work. I wish you all safe travels back to Texas and hope our paths cross again in the future.

The stunning Abbotsford House in the Scottish Borders is famously the home of Sir Walter Scott.

This beautiful mansion is a delight to visit, with walks and views on the River Tweed. Boasting a walled garden and cafe with views of the house, it is definitely a recommended attraction.

One for the outlander fans.

Season 3 the Liars Spring was filmed at a location north of Glasgow & south of Loch Lomond, known as the Devil's Pulpit Gorge, or the Finnich Glen.

Today was a little adventure to see if it was suitable enough to add to future itineraries. This is a wonderful location no doubt, however it is definitely not suitable from a safety perspective. The photos don't show the dangers of sheer drop cliffs and overhangs. Several incidents have happened over recent years since the locations popularity rose. Even today, mountain rescue and emergency services arrived.

Unfortunate as it would have been fantastic to add to an Outlander or Loch Lomond tour.

Tonight's digs on the Isle of Skye.

Flodigarry Cottage was the family home of the famous Flora Macdonald for 20 years.

Born in South Uist in the outer Hebridean Islands, Flora would become famous for assisting Bonnie Prince Charlie in hiding from Government forces after Culloden in 1746.

Flodigarry Cottage built in 1745, would become home to flora in spring of 1751 after getting married to Allan Macdonald of Skye. She would give birth to 5 of her 7 children in this little cottage. Flora Macdonald died in 1790 and is buried a couple of miles north at Kilmuir graveyard.

Unfortunately when he became James 1 England he basically turned his back on the Scots and as a result of ascending to the English throne, Scotland would never be the same again.
