Epic Day in the Highlands: Glencoe Adventure
Woke up in Edinburgh, ready to conquer the Scottish Highlands! Our journey took us through the charming village of Callander, where we stopped for a coffee break and soaked in the scenery at the stunning Loch Lubnaig, a mirror reflecting the majestic peaks.
The real adventure began at Glencoe Mountains. Some of us embraced the thrill of skiing down the slopes, while others opted for a scenic chairlift ride to the summit. The views were simply breathtaking – a panorama of snow-capped mountains, deep glens, and the legendary Three Sisters.
We feasted on hearty Scottish fare at the lodge, sharing stories of our exhilarating day. The drive back to Edinburgh was filled with laughter and the lingering magic of the Highlands.
Ready for your own Glencoe adventure? Book your tour today and experience the magic for yourself!

A Winter's Kiss: The Highlands in Snow ❄️
We were all set to explore the stunning Highlands and reach Fort Augustus on Loch Ness today. But Mother Nature had other plans! 🌨️ Heavy snow and dangerous roads forced us to turn back for safety.
But hey, even the best-laid plans can take a snowy detour! Still, we found comfort and warmth at the cozy Broch Café in Strathyre ☕️ We'll definitely be back to conquer the Highlands when the weather improves.
Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming tours and let us know if you have any questions.

St Conan’s Kirk is more than just a stop on our journey; it’s a place of wonder. Set against the stunning backdrop of **Loch Awe** 🌊⛰️, this one-of-a-kind church ⛪️ is a favourite for families and groups seeking both beauty and history.

The Kirk is named after **Saint Conan** who has a rather interesting legend around him. One of these is meeting the **Devil** 👹 face to face, which gave rise to an old Highland proverb:
“Na, na, fair play, paw for paw.”

The idea of building this Kirk came to **Mr Campbell** as his elderly mother 👵 found the long drive to the parish church in Dalmally too much for her, so he decided to build her a church nearby. Walter’s first design, completed in 1886, was relatively simple, but he began to dream of a far nobler structure.

**Walter Douglas Campbell**, an architect and art collector 🏛️🎨, began constructing St Conan's Kirk in 1907 and devoted the rest of his life to its ex*****on until he died in 1914. Ready for a private tour with heart and history? ✨
