Pay at Pump
DO NOT USE ASDA FOR FUEL

Saturday morning I used pay at pump Asda Chesser Edinburgh

The cost £27.71 the embarrassment when I couldn't use my card for lack of Funds due To Asda pending £99 for transaction.

This is what ASDA have commented on internet

"When the transaction has completed, the Pay at Pump terminal will send a message to your bank with the actual transaction amount which will be charged to the customer; the pre-authorisation amount will be almost immediately released back to the customer’s account".

This is what ASDA rep in Chesser ASDA Edinburgh said "that it could take up to 7- 10 days and its not our fault it is Visa and Mastercard at fault. Transaction completed 06.14 Saturday 5 oct 2024 my account has £99 pending 12.01 Sunday 6 October. for £27.71 transaction for full.

ASDA DO NOT CARE its the Banks fault not ASDA.
STAY AWAY FROM ASDA Petrol Station.

I PURCHASED FUEL IN THE SAME WAY AT TESCO ON
Sunday 6 October and the pending shows the fuel charge not £99.

ASDA TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PAY AT PUMP CHRGES.
