Did you know that the Butt of Lewis is mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records as the windiest point in the UK? The whipping winds certainly add to the atmosphere. It is the most is the most northerly point of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, and standing looking out over the cliffs to the vast Atlantic Ocean is always a breathtaking moment. 🌬️

"Our group consisted of 3 couples in their mid-50’s. None of us had been to Scotland before so we were looking for a week-long trip to visit some of the “best of” places, mostly the highlands. Everything went so smoothly from our very first contact with the company, many months ago, to the day that our driver dropped us off at the end of the trip.

The staff we dealt with at the company were organized, professional and prompt. We were very happy with the accommodations they booked for us. Our driver for the week was Tom. We can’t say enough good things about him. He was the best addition to our group, not just our driver and guide. We all enjoyed his company, friendship, and expertise.

He picked some great lunch spots along the trip & other sight-seeing spots that we wouldn’t have found ourselves and he had everything well in-hand taking great care of us. We all miss Tom already and hope we can stay in touch some way. Thank you, Best Scottish Tours, for making our trip A+ and so memorable."

The UK was treated to an amazing spectacle this weekend... the Aurora Borealis! Here are some photos taken by Jen and Driver Jim who had a wonderful view of the stunning light show. It's a night we will all remember for a very long time.
