Hi Folks,
An update for those looking at booking a trip to Edinburgh. We will be accepting general bookings from 15th July onwards subject to advice by Scottish government.

We are making plans for this date regarding cleaning practices and other requirements (cancellation/ refund policies) to ensure that all runs smoothly when things do open up.

Note, with 2 apartments (1-bed and 3-bed) available, we can accommodate a number of “households” to keep you within compliance.

In the meantime, we do offer accommodation for key workers.

Why visit Edinburgh THIS summer? Well, it’s a unique/ rare time to explore the city with the streets so quiet and likely to be the cheapest summer for a visit you will find. Get in touch to enquire about bookings.

The Festival is almost over but fear not, there are plenty of things going on in September. Its a great time to go to avoid the crowds of August. It is also quite peaceful too as locals recover from a month long party hangover haha.

Hey Guys, Also came across this group in my research for fun activities. If you are visiting Edinburgh and Scotland you can't say you have experienced scotland without taking part in a ceilidh (Scottish Dance). it epitomises Scottish people quite well: pretty rough, wild, a bit out of control, happy, cheery, adversely affected by hot climates i.e. sweaty! :)

Check this place and the ghillie dudh (a pub) for regular dates. Get along and join in, just partner with someone in a kilt and you will be fine!

We have been running weekly and monthly ceilidhs for 18 years

Hi Folks, although Edinburgh is beautiful in the snow sometimes its not worth a dangerous journey to get there. For all those travelling, stay safe, make sure you are stocked up with essential supplies (more than whisky) and that you are nice and toasty!

For those visiting edinburgh for a while, the Scottish Borders is a beautiful part of the country, the epitome of Scottish countryside. There are some lovely towns, activities and sightseeing to be done! Great if the "Big" city of Edinburgh is getting a bit much!
