Leaving the fort/chateau hotel in Sedan we fought through the busy roads of rural France, past the cute town of Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache for a deluxe coffee and cake on the way to Calais. A bientot!

This morning, we sadly left Cochem. The usual coffee and cake stop in Bernkastel, we then drove past the naughty boy in Krov. Lunch in Vauxhall sur sure and more coffee in Neufchateau, tonight we are spending our last night in Sedan

A low mileage ride-out today, climbing out of the Mosel valley, past the lock at Bruttig, stopping for coffee in Bullay, before crossing back across the Mosel for a magical ride through the forests around Bad Bertrich. A refreshment stop in Murlenbach kept us going until we arrived back at Cochem. That blew the cobwebs away nicely… 😁

Today was a day off from the bikes, boat cruise to Beilstein and walk upto the castle, then back to Cochem for a wine tasting experience

Today we left Vianden and made our way to Gerolstein for a coffee and cake in baking temperatures. We then headed towards Nurburgring for a look around. We’re now living in Cochem for a few nights.

Today we spent the whole day in Luxembourg, riding to La Rochette to investigate the castle and coffee shops. We then headed into Remich for lunch, followed by a trip to Caves St Martin Winery for a cool down and a sample of their Cremant de Luxembourg

Todays ride-out took us out of the pretty cobbled streets of Vianden and was themed on the Battle of The Bulge, visiting several of the tanks dotted around the Arden, as well as a visit to the Bastogne War Museum, and a spot of lunch in bustling La Roche-en-Ardenne.

We had an early start from Dover this morning, through France and into Belgium. We had lunch in Dinant, the birthplace of the man who invented the saxophone, Aldolph Sax and onto Luxembourg, where we will be living in Vianden for a few days

Today, we left Moffat and drove through the highest village in Scotland, down the Mennock pass and into Gatehouse of Fleet for coffee and buns. We then rode to Raiders Road past Stroan Loch and onto Otter Pool then back to the hotel for the Front End Chatter podcast.

So today we rode along the A708, past the Loch of the Lowes, over the River Tweed around a loop to St Mary’s Loch and over the top past Megget and Talla reservoirs, back to Moffat to see the Spitfire parked in a front garden

Today we left the Austrian Tyrol and headed to the Italian Dolomites. Quiet roads, fantastic scenery, and a handy break down truck…

Well, after 9 years and well over 100k miles on KTMs it finally happened, and the mighty 1290 threw a strop. Bummer, but sh*t happens 🤷‍♂️

After an overnight stay in Saarbrücken we headed to our base in Austria (where we will enjoy a ride out on the Stelvio, in Italy), stopping for a coffee in the cute little town of Wissenbourg, then lunch somewhere not so cute (thanks to a motorway being closed) and now we are living in Austria.

So, race fans, due to a cancellation we have 5 tickets available for the Dutch TT available at face value. These are 3 day passes for the Hooft Tribune on the start/finish straight, the only covered grandstand at the circuit with views to the final (Geert Timmee) chicane, and as it is usually raining cats and dogs or blazing so this is important 😁
